Arab Money! Last night's show was in Wigan at Bar Fever. The city was a little scary and the show wasn't the best, but some friends who we met in Manchester last week came by and we all crashed at their house after the show. The drive to Newcastle was long and dreary, lots of grey skies and hills. Luckily the rain held out and we were able to explore the city for awhile when we arrived. The show tonight was at a place called Hoko 10 and the turnout was pretty nice. There are only three more shows left on the tour which is really depressing, if you're within range of the shows come out and have a party with us!

While we've been over here in England, a few out of states shows have been set up the week after our return home. Anyone living in these areas should come out and welcome us back from the U.K., there will definitely be photo slideshows at the merch table and lots of stories.

We're in Eastbourne tonight, the hometown of our tour mates My So Called Life. The show was excellent tonight and we all enjoyed an awesome home cooked meal at Vic's house. There have been some confusions with shows but all of the current posted shows are still on. There are only five shows left on the tour, if you haven't caught one in the past week, come out this week and say hello!

We're in Leeds again tonight after playing Manchester last night and sleeping at the lovely Fiona's house, again. Andy left his heart here so we came back for a second night. Tonight is Nottingham at the Running Horse. We'll be playing some capture the flag AO and MSCL style in Nottingham Forest with Robin Hood. Everyone is sick in some way but we're getting better after some good sleep and tea.

Update From Wakefield/Leeds

We're in Leeds right now after the show in Wakefield at the Snooty Fox. Last night's show in Sheffield went well, after the show we went to the Corporation and partied until early morning. Much thanks to Tash and Alex in Sheffield for letting us sleep in their house (pictured below). The following pictures are from Sheffield and Wakefield, showing some of the many faces of this wonderful Another Option/My So Called Life UK Tour '09. Internet is impossible to come by, tomorrow we will be in Manchester and the following night is Ipswich. To everyone following in the UK, come out to the shows because the tour is still just beginning.

We're in Sheffield again tonight, the band is getting ready to play at West St. Live. Last night's show was at The Yardbirds in Grimsby, home of the Warlocks biker gang, who graciously let us sleep in their bunkhouse. Olly from My So Called Life is filling in on drums now until Ian arrives again tomorrow or Wednesday.

Another Option is only 3/4 in the U.K. The Customs officers did not permit Ian into the country due to some mix ups with his visas, but he will be here soon (we hope). Last night the band met up with My So Called Life in Sheffield and played the first show of the tour acoustic. Here are a few photos from the flight/Paris/Sheffield.

NEW Show in Portland + Flyer For Homecoming Show

Another Option will be playing at The Station in Portland, Maine with To Speak Of Wolves on January 29th. Also, below is a flyer for the homecoming show in New Bedford. Everyone in the area needs to come and support a new venue in New Bedford, along with welcoming the guys home from the U.K.! Bedford Academy will also be playing and it's only $5.00 so you can't go wrong.

For the next week or so, everyone is getting through the holidays and finishing up everything necessary before the band leaves on January 2nd. If you are in the U.K. and just found out about the tour, the dates are posted below. If you are in the U.S. and you want to help the band, spread the word in any way you can! The homecoming show will be in New Bedford, MA at a new venue called the Black Watch Pub. Everyone should come out and welcome the band home from tour at this new venue, which we are hoping will become a frequented one soon.
